HALO

At Plastic Surgery Associates of South Dakota, we are dedicated to offering the latest and most effective treatments to rejuvenate and enhance your skin. What Is Halo Laser?

The Sciton Halo Laser is a revolutionary treatment that uniquely combines two laser technologies to target both the surface and deeper layers of your skin. This dual-wavelength approach allows for comprehensive skin rejuvenation, addressing issues such as fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, uneven skin tone, and enlarged pores. Halo is customizable to your specific needs, providing optimal results with reduced recovery time compared to traditional laser treatments.

What to Expect:

During your Halo Laser treatment at Plastic Surgery Associates of South Dakota, our expert providers will customize the settings to target your unique skin concerns. The procedure typically lasts about 60-90 minutes, depending on the area and number of areas being treated. You may experience a warm, prickling sensation as the laser is applied, but a topical anesthetic is used to ensure your comfort throughout the session.

Post-Treatment and Recovery:

Each HALO Laser treatments comes with a full post-care kit from Revision Skincare.

After your Halo treatment, you may notice some redness and swelling, similar to a mild sunburn. This is normal and typically subsides within a few days. Over the next week, your skin will begin to peel and reveal a fresh, rejuvenated layer underneath. Most patients can return to their regular activities within a few days, though it’s essential to protect your skin from sun exposure during the healing process.
